James Freeman has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor’s Degree from Washington and Jefferson in Psychology and Religion. He has advocated for families and children in several different arenas: James has worked as an in home service worker, foster care caseworker, trainer, mental health coordinator, social work administrator, and non profit senior executive. James is very concerned with the changing culture of child welfare services and the services provided to poor families and children. In addition, he is concerned with the child welfare workforce. His goal is to continue to provide resources and services that encourage, empower and engage commitment to quality clinical social work in the community.
