Brad Koenig has been a freelance editor since 2010. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Taylor University and a master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Arlington. He wrote music reviews for his college newspaper, The Echo. After editing for kicks for awhile, he learned he could do it as a career in 2004. He has edited a variety of genres of books: religious, scholarly, training, history, and memoirs. He also has experience with an e-magazine, children’s curriculums, web pages, blogs, skit scripts, videos, DVD menus, newsletters, and procedure manuals.

His specialty for Word Association is legal advice books. He realizes that most lawyers barely have time to write a book, so when they do finish their manuscript, he is glad to help clean up the nitty-gritty details like spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar, and the format of headings and paragraphs. He loves making authors look good by fine-tuning their books to perfection.

Brad and his wife, Kathy, live in Lakewood, Colorado, where they are blessed to enjoy the majesty of the Rocky Mountains. They have two grown sons, Wayne and Evan. They all love to go on mission trips. Kathy has written two books about a tribe in Cameroon, West Africa, from their experiences, and of course Brad was her editor.
